Maroa has worked very hard to help in the development of the area. We are proud to provide more than 120 employments directly, with a built-in relationship with local fishermen in Chiloé province, who work with a sustainable approach in the extraction of the seafood products.
Besides, the commitment with the local community for more than three decades, sponsoring Pre-Schools, granting scholarships, donations for social purposes. Maroa has started since 2017 the Quellón Gastronomic Festival (FEGASQUE in spanish acronym) where the main objective is to create a close collaboration between the Gastronomy students of the county, who actively participate with outstanding national and international Chefs.
