CHARACTERISTICS: Benthic Echinoderm that preferably inhabits hard bottoms forming aggregations or banks. We can find them between the I and XII regions in Chile.
MAIN PRODUCTION LINES: Refrigerated – Frozen Fresh – Frozen blanched
REGULATION: Extraction by fishermen wild caught with a minimum catch size of 7 centimeters. Subject to closed season from the I to XI regions: October to March. XII region: August to February.
