CHARACTERISCTICS: Benthic Crustacean inhabitis the sandy, rocky, and seaweed covered seabeds along the coast of Chile.
MAIN PRODUCTION LINES: Live Crab – frozen cooked whole crab – cluster – 3 segments claws and arm – cocktail claws – meat.
REGULATION: Harvest with indefinite closed season for egg-bearing females, with a minimum catch size of 12 centimeters.
